Course Objective

The course aims to provide knowledge on soil investigation methods, foundation systems, stress development in the soil, and behavior of the soil such as stress-settlement relationship due to loading.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course involves theoretical lecture and problem solutions related to the subject. The lecture continues in the form of mutual discussion between the lecturer and the students after introduction and basic description of the subject. Problems are given as homework for each related subject.
