Course Objective

The purposes of this course are to design a new product, to investigate the usage of new raw materials, to apply new techniques and to develop the current techniques.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To collect necessary information about the new designed product.
2   To define the design of the body and glaze of the new product.
3   To list the necessary tests for the production of the new product.
4   To apply the necessary tests.
5   To prepare the technical report.

2 Selection the raw materials for body preparation, Preparation of the body.
3 Examination the preparation results. Decision of the shaping method.
4 Shaping the samples.
5 Corrections after the technical report.

8 Preparing the theoretical glaze calculations.
9 Preparing the theoretical glaze calculations.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The theoretical lectures of the course will be taught in the classroom and the applications of the theoretical issues will be taught in the laboratory. The instructor will discuss the theoretical and applications of the course for better understanding.
