Course Objective

In the process of using natural stones as final products, it is the explanation of the methods and properties of the applications such as polishing, honing, patinato, wear out, sandblasting, pickling, burning, carding, hammering etc.

1   To be able to define general concepts related to surface treatment in Natural Building Stones
2   To be able to classify surface treatments.
3   To be able to indicate the properties of surface treatment methods.
4   To be able to discuss the comparison of surface treatment methods.
5   Ability to choose suitable surface treatment methods for different marbles
