Course Objective

To increase the level of knowledge of health technicians about their legal responsibilities.

Week Subject Description 1 Introduction; acquaintance, presentation of learning objectives of the course 2 Principles of medical ethics; respect for autonomy, do not harm firstly 3 Principles of medical ethics; beneficence, principle of fairness 4 Types of responsibility of health professionals 5 Patients' rights; informing, service accessibility, informed consent 6 Patients' rights; evidence-based medicine, intervention prohibited except for medical necessity, attention 7 Patients' rights; respect for privacy, confidentiality, respect for human values 8 Other patients' rights; visit, possession of someone else, ensuring the safety, benefit from religious services 9 Medical malpractice; cases 10 Medical malpractice; cases 11 Medical malpractice; judicial process in this situations 12 Legal and ethical aspects of euthanasia and organ transplantation
