Course Objective

In this course, students get to know the types of materials used in the production of garments and are having the information they need in their work experiences related to these materials. All apparel workers need this basic knowledge. This course provides basic information on planning, ordering, quality determination, inspection methods or production related to auxiliary materials used in apparel.

1   To be able to comprehend the importance of auxilary products for manufacturers and clients
2   To be able to identify the materials required for the product and to select the appropriate materials for the product
3   To be able to order materials
4   To be able to access to information about auxiliary materials used in the market
5   To be able to have knowledge about the tests applied to auxiliary materials
