Course Objective

Aim of this course is to provide students with general knowledge on types of contracts, statutes, torts and unjust enrichment as well as nature and classification of obligations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to interpret fundamental concepts of Law of Obligations.
2   Being able to define sources of obligations.
3   Being able to explain contracts and breaches of contracs.
4   Being able to distinguish specific types of contracts.
5   Being able to realise the necessary requirements prior to the conclusion of contracts in commercial life.

5 Subject matter of contracts, freedom of contracts, limitations and restrictions
6 Gross overcharge and representation

9 Obligations deriving from unjust enrichment
10 Consequences of obligations
11 Specific issues in obligations
12 Termination of obligations
13 Specific types of contracts: Contracts of transfer of title
