Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach alternative energy sources that may be the solution to the world's energy problems and effects of their usage on the environment to students.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to define energy and energy sources.
2   To be able to specify alternative energy sources according to their properties.
3   To be able to explain mainly production technologies of alternative energy sources.
4   To be able to specify the application areas of alternative energy sources.
5   To be able to explain effects of alternative energy sources on the environment.
