Course Objective

To determine soil engineering properties by using equipments of soil mechanics laboratory.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to receive soil sample by using standard methods
2   To be able to perform the necessary tests to determine the physical properties of soil samples taken.
3   To be able to detect the consistency limits of soil according to the relationship between the ground-water.
4   To be able to create report from the results of the test.
5   To be able to make the soil classification.
