Course Objective

The course aims to transfer and experimental works likely to combine their creative and unique approaches with concepts of form, texture and hue to surface design using a variety of techniques and material.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Acquire knowledge of devices and material needed by textile design,
2   Use material and sources concerning textile design efficiently,
3   Have information on design elements and use them in textile design functionally,
4   Obtain a variety of different textures using different material and techniques
5   Employ hues in textile design effectively.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Staff member requires students to have knowledge of material and devices for textile design, know of a variety of dyeing techniques they would employ, do textural experiments with textile stuffs and prepare implementations involving hues.

The course is to evaluate ability of students to
transfer their creativeness and unique ideas to design and
use their time efficiently
conduct explorations and studies based on given projects and
participate in the course.

Attendance to the course by 70% is compulsory
Any attempts to plagiarise or plagiarism will be harshly punished by disciplinary board
Nonattendance to the course can not justify late delivery of assignments and projects.
