Course Objective

The course aims to create the necessary background and context apprehension on geometry principles necessary for all kinds of designs in fashion accessories design discipline and drawing in order to create technical documents for exacting intended design without necessity for interpreting by third parties.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   As an out come of this course the student is expected to show progress in the following: Control over 2 dimensional geometries
2   Ability to analyze 3D geometry to its components
3   Transfer 3D to 2D
4   Control over concepts of tolerance, absolute and relative measurement
5   Ability to resolve 3 dimensions and to percieve and draw principle 3D

Any reference on intermediate technical drawing is acceptable

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Within the course flow,
Students are expected to do geometric analysis of meaningful volumes and document the gathered information, make two dimensional scaled drawings. Should be able to percieve and draw basic 3 dimensional boolean operations. Ability to draw simple designs and make their models. Become profficient in drawing tools.

Assessment Criteria

Attendance is of utmost improtance.
Passing grade from the exams and orderly submissions made on time are required to pass.

80% attendence is must
Late submissions are graded on an as and when basis but students are expected to submit under all circumstances. Being absent on a certain date is not an acceptable excuse for missing submission/s.
