Course Objective |
The primary purpose of the course is to raise learner s awareness on the fact that cultural diversities across the world persist, despite the ongoing and ever-accelerating process of globalization. By the same token, it is also aimed that the learner be aware of the impact of cultural diversities upon business practices throughout the world. For this purpose, the main spheres of culture across the world will be studied with reference to their particularities and contribution to the global culture as well as their role in the international business environment. |

1. Although the course is mainly based on lectures, around 20 % of each session is intended for class discussion, based on the lecture itself and assigned readings. Therefore, students are expected to be prepared for class participation at each session. |
