Course Objective |
The aim of this course is have the students comprehend the development and evolution phases of Turkish carpets throughout history, and have them gain knowledge to comment on this field. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
In this course the students will be able to learn Turkish carpets by examining them throughout history and have knowledge at academic level in this field. For this reason, the subjects to be researched will be given to the students every week and they will be asked to be ready for the next lesson. The lesson will be in a discussion atmosphere. |

The pass grade will be determined by evaluating the grades of mid-term, final and the assignment. |
Assessment Criteria |
The research portfolio, mid-term and the final exams will be evaluated out of 100. 20 % of the research portfolio, 20% of the mid-term and 60% of the final exam will determine the pass grade. |
