Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to teach students screen printing techniques, batik techniques and their applications. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
During the course, all the sources relating to the printing and dying techniques that are used in traditional scarf printing will be scanned, historical examples will be studied and new designs and applications will be developed according to the stylistic characteristics of various examples.Theoretical work will be based on the research and notes of the lecturer in charge of the course Practice work will be carried out in ateliers under the lecturer s supervision. |

The evaluation criterias are based primarly on the principle that student s work should be in accordance with the given subject matter and be successful in translating his/her design into the finished application. |
Assessment Criteria |
Project work and the presentation performance will be evaluated seperately on 100 points basis. %60 of the Project points and %40 of the performance points will add up to the final result. |
