Course Objective

The objective of the course is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the critical issues and concepts in consumer behavior that challenge today's marketing academics and managers. Students will prepare an academic study regarding consumer behavior topics throughout the semester.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand the complexity of consumer behavior in order to analyze how companies develop strategies.
2   Recognize and understand the key strategic decisions in consumer behavior facing marketing managers in order to be able to make better consumer behavior decisions.
3   Investigate the latest developments in consumer behavior.
4   Analyze academic journals and prepare an original academic study in order to improve their academic working skills.
5   Demonstrate high communication skills in presenting an analysis.

Assessment Criteria

1. MIDTERM EXAM: Midterm exam will cover the literature review and research proposal of the topics students will study.
2. TERM PROJECT: Term project will be the empirical analysis of the study topic.
3. FINAL EXAM: Final exam will the final version of the study conducted throughout the semester.
