Course Objective

The purpose of this course is learn Six Sigma techniques and understand how to apply in business.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   able to sort the approaches are used in business processes
2   able to identify critical points within the process and make the necessary analysis
3   able to reduce errors and to specify the actions to be performed according to the results of his analysist
4   able to use Six Sigma tools to reduce errors
5   able to establish six Sigma organizations and specify actions to be taken in order to increase the yield
6   able to determine the level of world-class quality by applying Six Sigma metrics

Assessment Criteria

Analyze the quality-related problems, create and improve business processes and statistical quality control tools to use in their business practices. Will be measured the level of knowledge the students by participation during the course discussions and the answers given to the questions in the exams
