Course Objective

Soap opera scenario Writing III course has been opened as a common and theoretical lesson for all departments of Department of Film Design.
The aim, content and expected contribution to the students of this course is as follows:
Students taking this course are expected to
1. supply a logical correlation between the theme and theorem, and try out film story writings accordingly,
2. write a film story visually,
3. corroborate the importance of scenario writing
4. learn the dramatic structure of classical expression, define the factors of dramatic structure, set up conflicts and affabulation and finish the narration,
5. make up and practise the dramatic structure on scenario.


Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   . make up the theme, theorem and conflict that are the fundamentals of scenario and improve the story in accordance with it,
2   define the dramatic structure of classical expression; learn concepts such as human psychology, sociology etc. in the course of making up a story and creating characters,
3   . have the skill to make up a conflict and to sustain the story,
4   define and list the main factors of dramatic structure, set up affabulation, get the story to the end and finish it,
5   . have a skill and analytical thinking to plan, practise, explain, criticize and compare a story.
