Course Objective

Categories in Cinema I has been opened as a department of scenario writing and department optional lesson.
The aim of this course taken by department of scenario writing and department of cinema students is as follows:
The students are supposed to learn the categories which have a significant place in the global cinema that has born witness new forms as well as social and cultural factors of documentaries and films since the onset of cinema. In this course, we aim to examine historical and cultural developments of important categories and their formal and contextual features.
