Course Objective

Learning filmic styles theoretically and working on practical assignments on different filmic styles. Learning the importance of mise en scene in film with all of its components and using them in practice.

1   In the context of film style and Mise en scène watching the examples of selected movies and discussing about them,
2   Realize the importance and role of a film director in the creation of Film style,
3   Methods and techniques of the creation of different film styles
4   Grasp of the content and aesthetic dimension of the Film style and mise en scène,

6   Use creativity and make practical work in context of Film style and Mise en scène;

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Based on a theoretical and practical teach through semester student prepares his own work for the end of the period. This work and class participation is evaluation at the end of the semester.

Assessment Criteria

During the semester 3 different assignments are expected to be completed. They constitute the 60% of the total grade.
Final project is the 40% of the total grade.
