Course Objective

The students are introduced to basic notions and concepts in Animation Cinema. They get a basic idea about how animated films are produced in theory but also through pracitcal exercises. Students learn to analyze animated films by considering different aspects of film making.

1   To know the basic theoretical level animation production methods.
2   Basic animation techniques able trials.
3   Basic understanding of the production methods of the basic animation techniques.
4   Understand the differences between the basic animation techniques.
5   Solve the basic problems of the manufacturing processes of animation techniques.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Course instructor explains basic digital animation concepts and terminology to students and assigns relevant classwork.
During classwork, students are shown relevant examples and are encouraged to create similar digital images.

2) Absence from the lecture will not be considered as an excuse for not turning in homeworks and projects.
