The final grade will be based on research and presentation (20%) and homework assignments (80%) .

Assessment Criteria

For homeworks and the midterm, students are expected to complete the exercises assignedto them. Students will be graded on their level of competency. For the final project, students are expected to develop a project of their own, and apply the skills they have practiced in lectures. In evaluation of these projects, their level of difficulty and creativity will be taken into account, as well as
students' competency in implementing the techniques covered in lectures. Assignments and projects submitted past the announced deadlines will not be accepted
