Course Objective

The course aims to study historical process of clothes and finery through their form and material aspects from their status symbol in community and culture in which they are internalised to position in fashion phenomenon

The course requires students to prepare their research assignments on issues related to custom history.
2. Review Sessions and Class Discussions
Encouragement of presentation of research subjects and active participation of students in classes.

Course will be handled with in theory. Museum visits are planned with related issues

Assesment of the course

Course Policies and Rules

1.It is compulsory to maintain 70% of class attendance.
2. Any attempt for plagiarism result in disciplinary penalty.
3. Absence in the class is not a valid excuse for late submission of the projects and assignments.
4. In case of the late submissions, students lose point equal to one letter note for each day right after the dead-line.
