Course Objective

With this course, it is aimed to have knowledge about outer ear, middle ear and inner ear diseases that cause hearing loss.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge about various types of hearing loss (conductive type, sensorineural and mixed type) and related diseases
2   To be able to define the nature of diseases that progress with adult conductive hearing loss.
3   To be able to define diseases with sensorineural hearing loss
4   To be able to define diseases with conductive hearing loss
5   To be able to define diseases with mixed hearing loss
6   To have basic knowledge about retrocochlear pathologies

7 Sudden deafness.
8 Labyrinthitis.
9 Presbycusis.
10 Meniere diseases.
11 Ototoxycity and vestibulotoxicity.
12 Hearing loss in children .vestibuler Schwannoma.
