Course Objective

With this course, the students in the functioning of the human body in order to understand the mechanisms and principles of the operation of instruments used is to learn the basic concepts of physics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The basic concepts of physics define work-energy and power concepts and units
2   Measurement unit conversion and unit systems, the ability to recognize and apply units.
3   Behavior and properties of fluids, fluid pressure can explain.
4   Chemical structure of the solution, the solution, the mixture explain the concepts of the compound.
5   Static electricity, electric field, potential and potential concepts
6   Electric current, resistance, electromotive explain the concepts.
7   Explain the effect of magnetism and magnetic current.
8   How they are constructed and the properties of electromagnetic waves

1 Measurement and unit systems, Scaler and vectoral quantities
2 Motion in One Dimension (concepts of displacement, velocity and acceleration)
3 Newton's laws of motion and practices
4 Kinetic and potential energy, conservation of mechanical energy, work and power
5 Mechanical waves (acustic physics and sound waves, Doppler effect)
6 Properties of electric charge, Coulomb s law, electric field and electric potential, Gauss s law, electric field flux and electric current
7 Electric current and resistance, Ohm s law, direct current and alternative current
8 Transfer of electrical power, transformator, half-wave and full-wave rectifiers
9 Magnetic field, Gauss law in magnetism, concept of magnetic dipole
10 Magnetic field induced by an electric current, Biot-Savart law and Amper s law, magnetic field flux, Faraday's law
11 Motion of a charged particle in electric and magnetic field, Maxwell equations, Electromagnetic waves and its properties, electromagnetic spectrum, the energy quantization of electromagnetic waves, definition of photon
12 Structure of matter, atom and atomic energy levels, interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter
13 Magnetic field of an atom, spin and orbital motion of electron, magnetic field of nucleus, the motion of magnetic dipol in an external magnetic field, Larmor precession motion, magnetic resonance phenomena
