Course Objective

The aim of the course is to provide the students an advanced understanding of the main principles and major issues of Turkish foreign policy from World War I until recently.

1   Gain an understanding of the main principles and the major issues in Turkish foreign policy starting from the World War I until recently
2   Be able to comprehend the interests and positions of key actors shaping Turkish foreign policy during the period under examination
3   Be able to assess the external and internal factors that shape Turkish foreign policy
4   Be able to evaluate the outcomes of Turkish foreign policy
