Course Objective

To inform about the intellectual and cultural basis of Turkish literature and to distinguish primary ecoles and agencies who have been influential in the formation of these basis

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to distinguish the primary ecoles constituent of the intellectual basis of Turkish literature
2   Being able to apprehend the development of Islamic thought
3   Being able to gain knowledge on Islamic philosophy
4   Being able to learn the notion of Sufism and the basic concepts of the notion of Sufism
5   Being able to obtain an original perspective by establishing a relation between comparative and critical approaches and the conditions of the modern era
