Course Objective

To acknowledge the Students of Composition and Orchestral Conductor of the Art Dept. about the Main variaties of Turkish Folk Music, its methods, aspects and the structure of melody, also to highlight about using it as a tool and to apply it during the composing process.

The Lecture is given, by the lecturer, theoritically with the related basics about Turkish Folk Music while benefitting from the scientific resources while comparing directly.

Homeworks:
Homeworks consist of theoritical written works of the content of the course itself and encourage students to make research on different resources.
