Course Objective

This course aims to allow the students who are in the process of completing their diploma projects to take the full advantage of the experience and knowledge of the supervisor faculty members in the related areas of scientific inquiry, provide the ability to follow, evaluate and discuss the current literature.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student is expected to develop the ability to: interpret, improve on and apply with expertise the theoretical and practical knowledge developed during the studies leading to the diploma project.
2   seek and access information
3   synthesize, analyze and interpret information regarding the diploma project
4   fulfill the scientific and ethical criteria in collecting, interpreting and publishing data
5   Construct, develop and apply methods to solve problems and evaluate the results.
6   Use research methods, develop new approaches and take responsibility in solving problems
7   Present in written, oral and visual form his or her work and current developments in the area of research for the diploma project.
