Course Objective

This course aims to help the student to appropriate professional understanding of expressive means which constitute the plastic language through a study of color, line, form, structure and composition in basic art education

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student is expected to gain knowledge of the suitability of means to the ends in selecting technique and material
2   Develop a selective approach to image synthesis and clarity in the semantics of subjective interpretation
3   Develop a consistent approach in the selection and use of expressive means
4   Develop a sensitivity to bring together the material with the richness of texture, depth and characteristic expression
5   Discover the essentials of artistic painting
