Course Objective

Provision of knowledge on the development of Turkish theatre from the period in which the phenomenon of play emerged until the Republican period

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   learn the history of Turkish theatre
2   Learn the phases undergone by the Turkish culture and Turkish art
3   Attain the required infrastructure for their profession
4   Enhance their power of synthesis
5   Attain the required infrastructure for designing an authentic Turkish theatre making use of the tradition in the context of main branches of art
