Course Objective

The objective of this course is to provide process of research in engineering sciences. The Project motivates students and allows them to choose a topic that is both an extension of their Diploma studies and one which they have a personal interest in the marine transportation sector and marine engineering field. It helps learners to become independent, innovative, critical thinking,research oriented, reflective and selfevaluating.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to learn about the research process related to the subject 2   Students will be able to learn define the problems and the produce optimal solution. 3   Students will be able to have the opportunity to collect comprehensive information about the subject which they want to research 4   Students will be able to improve their innovation and research oriented thinking. 5   Students will be able to have science ethics when writing their Projects.
