Course Objective

General terms, definition of occupational accidents and diseases, analyses of occupational accidents, national institutions related to occupational safety, occupational safety boards, inspection of work site, occupational diseases, prevention of occupational accidents and disesases, international regulations regarding occupational safety.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To introduce general HSE concept, its application areas and historical development of HSE.
2   To have the ability of defining and analyzing risks and emergencies in working-occupational-professional life
3   To know the reasons of work-related accidents and occupational diseases and to learn the preventive methods against them.
