Course Objective

This course equipped/un equipped, public/private physiotherapy assessment methods aim
to learn and discuss comparatively advanced.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Can define basic concept and principles of assessment methods of physiotherapy.
2   Know subjective and objective assessment methods of physiotherapy.
3   Can evaluate patients individually and record.
4   Can adapt evaluation methods on different areas of physiotherapy.
5   Can interpret evaluation results.

1 WHO health model, definition of ICF
2 Subjective assessment (history, clinical examination principles)
3 Biochemical and hemodynamic examination in PT and evidence based practices
4 muscle strength, ROM, endurance, posture, balance and coordination assessment cardiopulmonary system diseases
5 muscle strength, ROM, endurance, posture, balance and coordination assessment musculoskeletal system diseases
6 muscle strength, ROM, endurance, posture, balance and coordination assessment neurological diseases
7 Physical activity level examination and evidence based practices
8 Examination of Exercise capacity and functional level, evidence based practices
9 Health related quality of life, activities of daily living, orthosis etc. auxiliary device examination
10 Subjective-objective examination methods (questionnaire/measures/observation)
11 Designing of examination methods
12 literature review (cardiopulmonary diseases)
13 literature review (musculoskeletal diseases)
