Course Objective

The aim of this course is to understand the mechanisms of carcinogenesis and related Factors which contribute to carcinogenesis by viral, chemical and physical carcinogenic agents and stages of cancer formation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Capable of understanding effective viral, physical and chemical carcinogenic agents, and molecular biological characterization of their composition and properties of biological changes in carcinogenesis.
2   Be able to explain cancer deveoplment by different kinds of carcinogenic agents
3   Be able to know the role of viral carsinogenic agents in carsinogenesis
4   Be able to know the role of chemical carsinogenic agents in carsinogenesis.
5   Be able to know the role of physical carsinogenic agents in carsinogenesis
6   Be able to understand the Issues related genes in the development stages of carcinogenesis and molecular carcinogenesis characteristics and clinical image.

Assessment Criteria

Learning outcomes will be assessed with writing review related to carsinogenesis mechanisms in different types of cancers. The homework on the topic of special cancer types and their molecular mechanisms related to viral, physical and chemical agents.
