Course Objective

In this course, the doctorate student during the thesis period is aimed to transfer the knowledge and experience in the related scientific field in accordance with the project planned by the supervisor, to assess and discuss advance level researches, evidence based practice results, up-to-date information and new developments related to the thesis topic and reflect on her/his scientific studies in accordance with ethical principles, to comprehend the multi-disciplinary interaction related to the field of Public Health, and to turn the theoretical and applied knowledge into behaviour.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students use the knowledge that s/he has interpreted, developed and deepened in the field of public health
2   They analyse, interpret and synthesize the knowledge of Surgical Diseases Nursing with science philosophy, nursing concepts, theories and models, advanced research and other positive science knowledge
3   They identify and interpret the issues related to Surgical Diseases Nursing and nursing education, and solve them in direction of scientific and ethical values by using research methods
4   They use information, research and evidence based practice results that have been evaluated critically while conducting advanced level studies independently
5   They transfer the up- to- date knowledge that s/he follows in the field of Surgical Diseases to practice.
6   They use the knowledge obtained in the professional field in a report format and essays and present in scientific assemblies.
