Course Objective

In the context of this course, we examine the concept of Anthropocene and its causes; to be able to do literature research in the age of anthropocene; to examine the works of artists working on the topic of anthropology in contemporary art works. The aim of this course is to be able to produce art works and articles about the relation between society, environment, art and anthropocene.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, the student will understand the reason for the emergence of Anthropocene concept,
2   To be able to do research about Anthropocene and to transform this knowledge into artistic production model,
3   To be able to work individually or in a team on anthropocene and art projects,
4   To be able to develop partnership with experts from different disciplines while producing artwork and article work.
5   To be able to write the report of the project to be produced about Anthropocene and art.
