Course Objective

Public realm and sculpture environment relationships, to be able to make monument model designs and unique monument applications.

1   To be able to detect the problems of the Public realm and sculpture environment ,
2   To be able to make the model samples by taking these problems into consideration,
3   To be able to transfer the model samples into their original size and reach the monumental effect,

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The lecturer guides the students to create solutions for the problems that they will encounter in shaping over the points of exit they have chosen and encourages them to research their own ways of expression.
For this purpose, the drawings and three-dimensional sketches are examined by the lecturer respectively in the process of designing, and the samples chosen are transmitted into the model size. The originality of the shape content - material relationship is discussed. The technical process is planned. The solution suggestions of the student in all the stages as from the stage of sketch are discussed over the data he/she created from his/her works (statues).
