Course Objective

The aim of this course is; to enable students to recognize and conceptualize post-traumatic problems and to use advanced skills in post-traumatic counseling.

1   To recognize trauma and related concepts
2   Being able to understand the disorders that occur after trauma
3   Understanding the relationship between trauma and memory
4   Being able to look at the trauma and related process from a psychodynamic perspective
5   Being able to use cognitive behavioral intervention methods in problems arising due to trauma

1 Definitions of trauma and related concepts Using cognitive behavioral interventions for problems that occur after trauma.
2 Changes caused by trauma in the physiological process Using cognitive behavioral interventions in post-traumatic problems in children and adolescents
3 Post-traumatic behavioral disorders in adults Using cognitive behavioral interventions for problems that occur after trauma
4 Post-trauma behavior disorders in children Using cognitive behavioral interventions for problems arising after trauma in children and adolescents.
5 Risk groups in post-traumatic disorders Final
6 Trauma-induced changes in memory
7 Interviewing and conceptualizing with the client after trauma
8 General evaluation, examination
9 Meeting with the client after trauma and making a psychological counseling plan.
10 Look at trauma and related disorders from a psychodynamic perspective
