This course aims to teach science phiolosphy and history.

2 Atom concept, old Asia civilizations and pre-leaders of science ( China, India, Anatolia)
3 Evolution of science in old Egypt and Greece
4 Periods of philosophers, antique era
5 Christian philosophy, alchemy and chemistry; importance of church, scholastic era of science philosophy
6 Muslim philosophy of science and alchemy
7 Science in Medieval period
8 Midterm examination
9 Hierarchical approach in chemistry
10 Enlightening period philosophers, great jump of science and chemistry
11 Chemistry and alchemy, evaluation of the idea on the matter, element concept
12 Industrial revolution and development of chemistry; chemistry, environment and men
13 Periodical Table of elements, chemistry as an independent science
14 Contemporary chemistry concepts, chemistry in service of life
