Course Objective

Course aims to give students a vision and knowledge of wide range of marine leisure and tourism from basic concepts to developing competitive strategies for international marine tourism industries.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand marine and tourism concepts, distinguishing unique attributes of marine tourism.
2   To learn leisure activities and apprehending each leisure activities on sea
3   To understand administrative aspects of marine tourism
4   To understand the marine tourism environment and its various elements (ecotourism, ethnic tourism, marine parks and protected areas, fisheries, sustainable development, tourism ethics and marine environmental education)
5   To understand water sports and yachting concepts in marine tourism
