Course Objective

The objectives of the course are to overview maritime transport policy and analyze it under national, regional and international contexts. In addition to this the objectives of the course are to enable students understand, analyze and appraise, from a research viewpoint, shipping policy theories and international trends.

8 Policies and strategies in international maritime business
9 Aims of International Maritime policies: safety, security, environment, sustainability.
10 Intergovernmental relations in maritime transport and diplomacy
11 International regulations and conventions in maritime transport
12 Strategies of International/ Nongovernmental Maritime organizations.
13 National, regional and international maritime policies in the world
14 Project evaluation
