Course Objective

To introduce Turkish Islamic Literature to students more closely and to teach the place of the mazmuns in literary-religious-mystical poetry.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learns the etymological and literary definition of the mazmuns.
2   Understands the relationship of the mazmuns between the literary arts.
3   How to find the the mazmuns in poetry and he/she discovers the meaning the poet attributes to it.
4   Learns the concepts of religious-sufism and its processing in poetry.

9 The mazmuns in religious literature.
10 Religious mazmuns.
11 The mazmuns about prophets and their miracles.
12 The mazmuns in sufi literature.
13 The mazmuns about religious and sufism orders.
14 The mazmuns about Sufi people and events.
