Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed that the student will comprehend the understanding of Messhai philosophers about the nature of the being and the existence, milk health, the nature of knowledge and the ways of obtaining information. Within the scope of the identity of thought and being, it is aimed to learn to analyze the nature of the relationship that the human mind will establish with the universal mind, and to comprehend the relationship between our knowledge of the external world and our knowledge of our mind contents such as perceptions, thoughts, beliefs, meanings, intentions and emotions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Messhai philosophers' approaches to the nature of existence are examined
2   The views of the Messhai philosophers on the nature of knowledge and the ways of obtaining it are learned
3   The role of the active mind that Islamic philosophers use to explain both the existing things in the world and human knowledge is comprehended.
4   The relationship of the mind with the outside world is examined with the distinction between external and mental being
5   The emphasis is placed on the things that make possible the human activity of knowing
