Course Objective

Especially in second half of the twentieth century in information and computer world made great strides with using the rapid development momentum entering the information science concepts and findings, the religious experience, religious beliefs and behavior of physical and mental backgrounds better understand and aims to explain.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The emergence of new approaches and developments in the science of psychology are learned.
2   Cognitive approach, concepts and issues are discussed in detail.
3   Cognitive science has to offer concepts and data to better understand the human aspects of the phenomenon of religion used to.
4   Induvidual because of learning new information has the opportunity to analyze its religious life and develop.
5   The data provided by cognitive science emerged both in individual life and in public life to understanding the causesof pathology and allows fixed.

13 Ritual, memory and emotion: Comparing two cognitive hypotheses.
14 Religion and frontal lobes.
