Further Notes About Assessment Methods

1. Midterm Exam: Midterm exam includes subjects and assignments in the course content (30%).
2. Term work (STT): Information about homework assignments and presentations has been explained in the beginning of term. (% 20)
3. Final Exam: The exam will cover all subjects in the course content. Students are also responsible for the discussion, practice and case studies (50%).
4. Resit: The exam will cover all the topics in the course content. Students are also responsible for the discussion, practice and case studies (50%).

Assessment Criteria

Within the scope of the course, students are expected to:
1. benefit from the studies on sustainable tourism existing in the literature,
2. benefit from sectoral studies for sustainable tourism,
3. be able to comment on case studies related to the course and the sector,
4. be able to offer solutions to the structural problems of the tourism sector.

Course Policies and Rules

1. It is obligatory to attend at least 70% of the classes.
2. Violations of plagiarism of any kind will result in disciplinary steps being taken.
3. Students are expected to participate actively to in-class discussions and team-works.
