Course Objective

The purpose of this lesson is to provide solutions to the specific social security problems experienced by self-employed persons.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have the ability to describe the basic concepts of social security.
2   To have the ability to be familiar with the national & international principles of social security.
3   To have the ability to discuss problems related to self-employed persons in the light of local and foreign court decisions.
4   To have the ability to apply the legal provisions of Turkish legislation on social security problems of self-employed persons.
5   To have the ability to create solutions to the problems faced by self-employed persons.

6 Qualification of self employed persons for work accident and occupational diseases insurance benefits
7 Mid-term exam
8 Qualification of self-employed persons for maternity insurance benefits.
9 Qualification of self-employed persons for sickness insurance benefits.
10 Qualification of self-employed persons for Invalidity insurance benefits.
11 Qualification of self-employed persons for old-age insurance benefits.
12 Qualification of self-employed persons for survivors insurance benefits.
