Course Objective

The aim of the course `Participation of Foreigners in Public Life at Local Level in the European Union and Foreigners in Turkey is to enable PhD students of public administration to develop strategies in creating a democratic urban life and to utilize foreign social capital in the country.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To know Foreigners situation in the field of EU.
2   Be cognizant of legal basis and main principles for foreigners in EC.
3   To learn perspective of foreigners in European countries and to present the sustainability of related EU and EC agreements.
4   Recognizing multiple effects of foreigners where accommodate countries and predicting strategies
5   Exermine the samples of foreigners socio cultural and economic interaction with local resident and improve strategies which is providing sustainability
6   Have knowledge of foreign residents administrative and political interaction in local, national and international levels.
7   Capable of evaluating Turkey s situation and success assessment.
