Course Objective

Investigating the theorical grounds of public financing and analysing the methods of public financing and the macro/micro economic effects of public financing by examining country experiences comparatively.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to understand the theorical grounds of the concept of public financing and methods of public financing
2   Be able to analyse and evaluate the macro/micro economic effects of public financing methods
3   Be able to analyse the relation between public financing methods with other financing methods and economic policy tools
4   Be able to make the theorical and practical analysis of public financing regarding comparative analysis of world countries
5   Be able to acquire the ability to make scientific critisism and to prepare/present sufficiently qualified essays and presentations in the related area

10 Public debt as an inevitable method of public financing (reasons, results and policy implementations)
11 The comparative analysis of public financing methods in developed countries
