Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of the daily life rituals of the Ottomans.

5 Life in home, house, neighbor, district, and the household items
6 The clothing, The eating habits
7 The term examination
8 The transportation and communication: Banditry and prisons.
9 The natural disasters, climate Earthquakes, flood, fire, drought etc.
10 The health problems, birth-death, cleaning habits
11 The worship, holy places, and communities
12 The places for intellectuals, the intellectual products Music and art
13 The places for intellectuals, the intellectual products Coffehouses
