To Explain the details of the history of women in Turkey
To ensure the socia-economic improvements in the Republic of Turkey on the effects of women s life

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to teach the history of Turkish Women, an important part of the Turkish modernization
2   Ability to teach and introduce the basic literature of the women history
3   Ability to ensure understanding of achievements of the Turkish Women in the Republican Era by comparing to the Ottoman period
4   Ability to give information about women s magazines and associations in the Ottoman Period
5   Ability to understand the importance of Turkish Women in the National Movement
