Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to explain details of Turkish labour history from Ottoman and republic. Because of this explanation well understanding to socio-economic recovery and transformation in Turkish Republic.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Teaching labour history which is important part of the Turkish modernization and industrialization.
2   Basic literature of labour history teach and introduce to student.
3   Comparing Ottoman and Republic period supply to understanding Republic's socio-economic recovery.
4   Trade Unions role's explain and analyze in terms of democratic developments at Turkey's.
5   To representative sample from Britain, US and Russian labour history defining to Turkey's labour history conditions worlds league place.
